Help us make a significant impact on the lives of students in the RGV! Join us for an exhilarating and unique experience on March 23rd as we lace up our running shoes for the first annual FCA 5K on a fantastic running trail.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes needs your support as we venture into exciting new territory by launching FCA huddles in non-traditional sports such as MMA, skateboarding, parkour, boxing, running, cycling, and more. We invite you to be part of this non-traditional initiative and support our efforts to expand FCA's impact on the students of the Rio Grande Valley. Gather your friends and coworkers for a morning of camaraderie and fitness as we embark on a fun run like no other.
This fun run will take place on the scenic Precinct 2 Hike and Bike Trail, meandering through beautiful neighborhoods and under the streets. The starting point is at the PSJA Bears baseball field on Bears Trail Drive at 8 am, with the kids' fun run kicking off at 7:45 am.
You can pick up your race packet on Friday, March 22, at The Valley Running Co in McAllen at 1701 Dove, from 3 pm to 8 pm. Alternatively, you can grab your packet on Saturday, race day, at the running trail starting at 7 am.
The event promises more than just a run – our festive atmosphere will have vendors, music, and giveaways. Our stylish t-shirts will be designed for you to wear again and again and again. Participants will also receive custom-designed medals, and winners in various age categories will be awarded medals, and cash prizes for the podium winners in the overall men’s and women’s categories.
Remember, your participation isn't just about the run – it's about making a difference in the lives of the students in the Rio Grande Valley. Lace up, show up, and let's run together for FCA!
